Description: Beyond simple tracking, Real-time Locating System (RTLS) can help improve both safety and quality. Learn how EMMC Cancer Care and Western Maryland Health System use rules-based RTLS software to automate safety- and quality-related tasks, including communication with pharmacy on time-sensitive medications, alone-time alerts, child-parent associations, and panic/assistance calls.
Presenters: Brenda Clements, RN, BSN, MBA, OCN is the Manager of Nursing Services, EMMC Cancer Care, a department of Eastern Maine Medical Center. Ms. Joslyn has more than 20 years’ experience in Critical Care, Medical and Radiation Oncology.
Jeffery D. O’Neal, LCPC, NCC is the System Director for Behavioral and Occupational Health Services at Western Maryland Health System.  Mr. O’Neal holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and has 26 years’ experience in traditional outpatient, hospital inpatient and emergency settings.
