Super
User Training
Super Users are those who
know the most about the application of the system from a clinical
user perspective. Super Users do not have to know the ins
and outs of the system, but they should have an application
level of understanding. Following this supervisory training,
Super Users should be able to address questions or problems
from the End Users about VISion, but they are not expected
to be experts like the System Administrators.
Versus performs on-site
training for Super Users. During the 2 to 4 hour Super User
training sessions, Versus gains individual and department
perspectives on what functions will be most useful and provides
training for those features. We also instruct users regarding
additional features which will help save time or eliminate
hassle. We supplement training with customized documentation
(reference materials, posters, cheat sheets, etc.) to remind
all users how to use the system and how the facility is using
the system.
Super Users are equipped
to train End Users. We have found this “Train the Trainer”
mechanism most effective in that it allows Super Users to
become more acquainted with the system and questions that
may arise. Super Users truly come to “own” the
system and serve as resources the facility can turn to for
training new employees or continuing education for others.
